Nadia Obeid

Executive Secretary

Ms Nadia Obeid is Executive Secretary and Director on the Board of the Australian Lebanese Chamber of Commerce Ltd.  Ms Obeid joined the ALCC in 1998.

Professional

Professionally, Nadia has held a number of senior administrative roles within CSR Sugar Division, Christian Dior, Peter Dalton Architects, Southcorp Technology, prior to joining the ALCC Board.

As Coordinator of an Architects office in North Sydney, she took part in implementing the office systems, and for managing the flow of day-to-day operation of the practice and liaised with clientele.

At Christian Dior Perfumes and Cosmetics Australia, she assisted the National Sales and Marketing Directors with product launches, delegation from Paris and day to day management.

In her current role as Secretary of the ALCC, Ms Obeid maintains the ALCC Office, and with supervision of the Executive Committee. She coordinates the Chambers activities and functions whilst running the office, as well as keeping the Board Members well informed on matters relating to the Chamber.

Voluntary

Ms Obeid is a member of the Catholic Women’s League Sydney, an organisation which addresses social and moral issues, as well as promoting values and equality in the areas of health, education, economic and social welfare.

Ms Obeid volunteered at the heritage museum of St Mary MacKillops place, North Sydney for a number of years, as well as giving support to the local Parish.
