Mr Michael Murr is a Director and has been on the board of the Australian Lebanese Chamber of Commerce since 1996.

Mr Murr runs numerous companies that mainly invest in property developments. Mr Murr is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a licensed builder. He worked in the engineering and construction management field in Lebanon until he moved to Australia in 1986. He worked for a number of large companies in Sydney and was involved in the construction and refurbishment of large projects in CBD Sydney. In 1993 Mr Murr started his first construction company and carried out contracts works until 1997. At that time he decided to start his own development company.
Mr Murr has been involved with various associations. He was a director of the Lions club of Sydney-Lebanon. He is also a founding member of the Australian Lebanese Foundation at Sydney University.
Voluntary
Mr Murr is currently involved in the building of St Michael Community Centre at Kirrawee in Sutherland Shire.
